Liverpool have got a fair few players out on loan at the moment and last night saw plenty of Reds tune into Sky Sports to watch one of them in action against Manchester United at Old Trafford. Harry Wilson started for Derby in the Carabao Cup third round and after the game, there were Liverpool fans calling for the 21-year-old to be offered a lifetime contract at Anfield.
Harry Wilson had one of those games that come around once every few years as everything he touched turned to gold. With his side trailing in the second-half the youngster stepped up and rifled a 30-yard free-kick into the top corner to bring his side level before wheeling away holding up five fingers in celebration to show the five European Cups won by his parent club. The Reds were simply mesmerised and they want him back now.
Watching their youngster at work had the fans believing that they had a real player on their hands and a lot of the supporters would be desperate to get the Fernando Torres lookalike back to Anfield and signed up on an ironclad contract for the rest of his career. The fans would like to see Wilson back at Anfield and in the first-team now and will be hoping that Jurgen Klopp had a recall clause inserted in his loan deal to Pride Park.
