Things will be getting pretty tense around Anfield as the Premier League season starts to enter its final stages as Liverpool will know anything but a win in their remaining nine games could prove costly in their pursuit of the title.
Manchester City appear to have hit form once again and do not look like a side that can be beaten once again, however, Jurgen Klopp’s side must be ready to take full advantage of any potential opportunity that may present itself down the line.
The news that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could return to first-team football soon will have been given a boost following his return to action for the Under-23 side on Friday, however, there was a surprise figure snapped in attendance.
What’s the News?
Harry Wilson, who is currently on loan at Derby County, was pictured taking in the action as the two club’s developmental sides went up against each other.

The Reds ran out as 3-1 winners, with Wilson watching his current academy team-mates look to make a name for themselves in the future.
Although Wilson may have allegiances to both clubs for the time being, it was a little bit of a surprise to see him in attendance at the game, considering Derby meet Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship in what will be a tough encounter on Saturday afternoon.
And the Rams will want to ensure that he is back to his very best for that game, as he has been a huge hit in England’s second tier under Frank Lampard. Wilson has netted 10 goals and provided two assists in his 29 appearances so far this season.
Liverpool fans will have also been impressed with how well things have been going for the Wales international at Pride Park and will be excited about the future he has at Anfield, as he has the potential to be a standout in the side should he be given an opportunity in Klopp’s first-team.
However, it would seem that he will need to get Premier League experience before being handed a role with the Reds, with reports suggesting Liverpool will look to loan him out to a top-flight club next season with the club already understood to be in talks with others about possible destinations, per GOAL (via Liverpool Offside).
Liverpool fans, do you think Wilson has what it takes to become a first-team regular for the club in the future? Let us know your thoughts by joining in with the discussion below.
