‘Hazard can leave if he wants’ – Chelsea fans are ready for major transfer trade this summer

Ever since Eden Hazard joined Chelsea back in 2012, the fans in the Transfer Tavern have been concerned about a potential departure. The Belgian is, undoubtedly, one of Europe’s best players, and he has proven that since swapping France for London.

News of potential interest from Real Madrid, then, came as no real surprise – with the Daily Mail reporting that Hazard is said to be open to the idea of a move.

It’s a deal that most fans have been fearing for years, but it appears as though that stance is beginning to change.

Indeed, whilst most would clearly love to keep Hazard, fans – at least on Twitter – appear to be coming around to the idea of a departure, on the condition that someone comes the other way.

More specifically, it appears as though Chelsea fans had their eyes fixed on their television screens yesterday – as they are all calling for Real Madrid midfielder Marco Asensio to come the other way. Asensio was playing for Madrid as they knocked PSG out of the Champions League.

Asensio has found life far from easy in Madrid, having yet to really cement himself in the team on a weekly basis. Nonetheless, when he has played, he has looked very good indeed. Displaying brilliant technique and flair, alongside a great goal threat, the Spaniard is undoubtedly a future superstar.

Chelsea fans appear desperate for him to move to Stamford Bridge, and you can take a look at a few of the comments below that are requesting the deal to happen…
