In a sensational shock move, it looks as if Kaka will leave Real Madrid this month before a permanent move in the summer. But where will he go and who is willing to pay the £50 million price tag?
Reports suggest that it is between three powerhouses of European football, namely Man Utd, Chelsea and European Champions Inter Milan. With all three clubs offering a decent prospect of winning the Champions League once again, should Kaka head to the Premiership or back to Serie A?
As a pretty loyal player, you would think that Inter Milan aren’t an option, plus the fact that they got the Benitez treatment (were made rubbish quickly) this season. Chelsea can give Kaka a chance to renew his successful relationship with Ancelotti but to be honest I’d rather have Frank Lampard. So, United look favourites, first with a loan, then to complete the deal at the end of this season. Mourinho is willing to sell to his old mate Fergie and you would think that Kaka – although some may say he’s past it – could rejuvenate his career at Old Trafford.
Where should he go? Do Chelsea fans want him? Is this the signing that all United fans have craved since Ronaldo left? Or do Man City just want to cut to the chase and come in now, and spoil everyone’s fun with an outrageous bid?
