The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been slating Emre Can as he’s been left out Germany’s provisional squad for the World Cup. The dynamic midfielder has had a hit and miss season with both injuries and contract disputes. Can’s contract expires this summer and he’s set to leave for Turin where he’s reportedly agreed to a deal with Juventus.
Emre Can not in Germany's provisional World Cup squad. Couldn't be bothered to say goodbye to the fans at Anfield either – as pointed out by @AnfieldRoad96. He can do one.

The Liverpool fans propping our bar up aren’t too happy with Emre Can. This time last year the midfielder was celebrating winning the Premier League goal of the season award for his fantastic strike against Watford. Twelve months on and the picture looks very different. The fans have been slating the German for the way he’s handled himself in his final few months at Anfield, as he’s failed to give the fans a proper goodbye and ghost out of the club without a word.
As the Kopites have been saying though, the injury that looks to have forced him to miss the upcoming World Cup in Russia is a big slice of Karma. It shouldn’t affect the 24-year-old too much though as he still has two more World Cup’s left in him and with the best years of his career still to come, especially if he’ll be spending them with the Italian champions winning trophies every year.

Meanwhile the Ox, who has a real injury, is being an absolute top bloke by giving tickets to a young fan, and doing his rep a world of good!

slippery slope for his career i think. Can't see him being much of an impact at Juve
