Manchester City's season is carrying on from last season, with Pep Guardiola's men sitting top of the Premier League as it stands.

The Cityzens look like being the team to beat once again, and despite the form of Chelsea and Liverpool, it very much looks like it is City's to lose.

The return of Kevin De Bruyne is only going to improve things further for the Blue half of Manchester, but if City are to keep moving forward and develop as a world force, then they need to keep ensuring they are adding the top talent from around the world.

That's why we here at the Tavern think that signing PSG striker Kylian Mbappe simply has to be the next big move that City make.

Valued at a whopping £150m, Mbappe just seems to be getting better and better, and if he can continue on his current upward curve of development, there's every chance he can go on to be a future Ballon D'or winner on more than one occasion.

Blessed with searing pace, incredible finishing ability, and at just 19-years-old with all the potential in the world to improve further, Mbappe is going to be one of the world's very best if he carries on.

While City might not have splashed the cash this summer like in previous years, there has to be a point where they make a big splash in the market once more, meaning Mbappe represents the ideal target.

City fans, what do you think? How good would Mbappe be? Let us know in the comments!
