Liverpool managed to secure all three points last night as they overcame the challenges of Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home.
The Reds find themselves in a promising position to secure the Premier League title, but the January transfer window could give them an even bigger edge over Manchester City.
Although, it appears as if the club have turned their attention towards securing a player agreement, as according to Liverpool’s official website, Herbie Kane has signed a new deal at the club.
Herbie Kane has signed a new contract at Liverpool, alongside returning to Doncaster Rovers on loan.
The 20-year-old came through the youth ranks at Bristol City before moving to Anfield five years ago and he was nominated for the 2018 European Golden Boy award alongside the likes of Kylian Mbappe.
“It is massive, coming from a massive club like Liverpool, so I’m happy,”
“I was excited to get it done. It took a lot of hard work to get this, but thankfully it is done. Hopefully I can carry on working hard and get to where I want to be.”
Herbie Kane has plenty of potential and he is already proving his worth at Doncaster in the current campaign, so he could have a huge part to play in the future for Liverpool.
The Reds already have a number of world-class attackers, but having seen the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez enjoy their rise to stardom, perhaps Kane is next.
