He’s a great player but Liverpool don’t need Christian Pulisic

Liverpool are primed and ready to challenge Manchester City for the league following their raft of superb signings.

After a disappointing end to last season, Liverpool worked quickly to bring in Fabinho, Naby Keita, Xerdan Shaqiri, and Alisson. With those four additions, Liverpool might just have one of, if not the best teams in Europe.

Moreover, after bringing Virgil van Dijk in last January, the Merseyside club have one of the most dominant defenders in the league. All Klopp needs to do is to find a partner for the Dutchman.

The Reds have been linked with Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic in the past and have been given a boost in their hunt for the winger. His father has admitted that his son has always aspired to play in the Premier League as reported by Sky Sports, via the Liverpool Echo.

“The Premier League is a league where he’s always aspired to be in and play in.”

The Breakdown

Pulisic is one of the best talents in Europe at the moment and in the last year has risen to prominence at Borussia Dortmund.

The young winger was promoted to the first team in and made his debut at the age of 17. Since then, the winger has become a major member of the first-team, playing 32 games while scoring four goals and creating six.

For any other team, Pulisic would be an incredible signing but with Mane, Salah and now Shaqiri at the club, there just isn’t any need to splash out on the winger who is valued at £40.5 million by Transfermarkt.
