The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern need no reason to show their love for Mauricio Pochettino, however, after reading a story in The Daily Mail that claims the Argentine rejected an offer to become the next Real Madrid Spurs fans everywhere have been celebrating their fantastic gaffer.

Mauricio Pochettino has improved the fortunes of every Spurs fans. The young gaffer came in having only managed Espanyol and Southampton and was relatively inexperienced in the managerial world. However, he’s now four years down the line in his Tottenham career and he’s turned the Lilywhites from Europa League fodder to a consistent Champions League side who are strong enough to challenge for the Premier League title.
In his four years at the club, Poch has made some key signings that have changed Spurs. Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Toby Alderweireld and Victor Wanyama have all had huge impacts on the pitch and were all scouted and recruited by the Argentine. The Spurs fans will be looking forward to another successful window in North London as they prepare to challenge in his 5th straight year with the club, with the aim of winning the first trophy of his managerial career.
