The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern have had a quiet few weeks on the transfer front…
With Jose Mourinho turning his side around impressively over the last few months, there has been little need for the Man Utd boss to invest heavily in his side – with the main focus of the month regarding player exits. Schneiderlin and Depay have already moved on, with the Man Utd fans in the Tavern expecting a few more to follow.
However, one player that seemingly won’t be heading for an exit over the coming days is Timothy Fosu-Mensah, with BBC Sport reporter Simon Stone noting on Twitter that Jose Mourinho intends to keep him at the club for the rest of the season.
Interestingly, Stone also notes that a host of clubs are keen on the defender – but with Mourinho lacking defensive depth, it appears as though he could find himself featuring within the Man Utd first team this season.

Five clubs have expressed an interest in taking Fosu-Mensah on loan but Jose set to keep him @ManUtd for remainder of season as it stands.

It could well be a breakthrough year for Fosu-Mensah, with the young defender really finding his own at Old Trafford.
After making his debut last year, he went on to make 8 appearances in the Premier League, and whilst he has only made 1 this season – the future is certainly bright for the youngster.
Our landlord is expecting him to get a few minutes this season, especially considering Man Utd’s lack of depth at the back.
