Hodgson could offer Liverpool flop first team football this summer

Crystal Palace fans in the Transfer Tavern will hope to see a number of additions to arrive at Selhurst Park this summer as they look to start the Premier League campaign strongly.

The Eagles found themselves at the bottom of the table for the majority of the season, however, Roy Hodgson managed to successfully guide them to a mid-table finish.

The locals will be hoping the side can bring in an attacker to help them with their goalscoring troubles, as they had found it difficult to find the back of the net on a regular basis, and reports are starting to suggest they could be about to try and bring one man to South-East London.

According to The Times, Liverpool’s Danny Ings has been tracked by the Eagles for a while and now that he is available for a transfer, the Londoner’s could be interested in making an offer for him.

Landlord’s Verdict

A move for Ings could be good for both him and Palace as the striker will be wanting to get back to regular football, something Hodgson could be in a position to provide him.

The striker has endured a hellish time since being at Liverpool, having suffered a number of serious injuries during his time and the locals will hope that if he does join them at Selhurst Park, they are behind him and he can hit the heights that took him to Anfield in the first place.
