Roy Hodgson’s name has been lamented amongst many of the punters in the Transfer Tavern after England’s dismal Euro 2016 exit at the hands of Iceland.
Having resigned from his job with the Three Lions, the former Liverpool and Inter Milan coach has largely disappeared from the public eye.
However, according to the Daily Mirror, the 69-year-old could be handed a shock Premier League olive branch.
They claim that West Bromwich Albion could offer him a route back into the top-flight should Tony Pulis leave the Hawthorns.
Despite the huge Chinese takeover the club went under over the course of the summer, it proved a reasonably frustrating few months for the Baggies.
Despite breaking their club record for Nacer Chadli, there are understood to be concerns amongst top brass at the club that Pulis could walk.
With that in mind, they are reported to have eyed Hodgson as a potential replacement, having previously managed the club prior to taking the England job.
The West Brom fans in the Tavern, who previously had fond memories of Woy, have been scared about his mooted return.
Can Hodgson still seriously take another job? Let us know below…
