Elmohamady was part of the Hull team that were relegated to the Championship last campaign but the winger, who can also play at full-back, could be set for a Premier League return.
The 28-year-old has less than a year remaining on his contract with Hull City and the club could be looking to cash in on the player in the January window before he becomes available on a free transfer next summer.
A plethora of Hull City fans enjoying a pint on table 22 here in the Transfer Tavern are deliberating this news, with them all admitting that it would not be surprise to see the midfielder depart the KC Stadium for the top-flight!
