It’s been a mixed campaign for Spurs in the Premier League, who once again improved on their league placing but failed to bring home any silverware yet again.
It’s left the Spurs fans lining the Tavern divided on how successful the season has actually been and moving forward, it’s clear they’d prefer to bring home trophies rather than finish second in the league.
The squad is looking strong and with the likes of Dele Alli and Harry Kane playing the best football of their career, there’s plenty of promise that a stadium move and some strong additions will take the team to the next level once again.
But there’s one man who they jury still very much remains out on going forward and that’s striker Vincent Janssen. The Dutch international really hasn’t shown fantastic form during his time at Spurs having made the move last summer.
He’s not been able to dislodge Harry Kane from the starting XI apart from when the England international found himself injured and once again he’s found himself in the headlines after a mixed performance in an international earlier today.
The Dutch swept aside a poor Ivory Coast outfit 5-0 and Vincent found himself back in the news having scored, set up an assist and missing a close-enough open goal.
And as you can imagine, Twitter had plenty to say after the game…

Janssen's quality is the hold up play in the 1st place, then accurate pass! The run & finish is a bonus! He deserves another year at Spurs
