Huddersfield Town fans will be praying for a miracle at this moment in time as their side appear to be heading for the Championship, but one thing that Jan Siewert’s side has shown since he took charge at the John Smith’s Stadium is fight and determination, which has already rewarded them.
Interestingly, it looks as if Siewert already has his eye on a possible summer addition of his own, as according to Reviersport (via Examiner Live), Huddersfield Town are being linked with a move for Herbert Bockhorn.
What’s the News?
The defender was in Siewert’s squad in his previous job in the Regionalliga West.
Bockhorn operates as a right-back but can also be utilised higher up the pitch and he’s been hugely impressive in the current campaign at Borussia Dortmund II.
Bockhorn is contracted with his German club until 2021, but the Huddersfield Town boss is interested in bringing him to England in the summer transfer window.
Huddersfield have had to make use of Juninho Bacuna at right back in recent times and it’s fair to say that he’s been rather impressive, so the future is definitely looking bright for the Terriers.
Bockhorn would fit perfectly into Siewert’s attacking style and he knows the Huddersfield Town boss very well, which would definitely bode well at the John Smith’s Stadium as they know how each other operate.
Indeed, it’s safe to say things are definitely looking promising under Siewert at this moment in time, despite relegation starting Huddersfield in the face, so fans should be excited to see what the future holds.
Huddersfield Town fans, do you think Bockhorn could play a big part for you next season? Join the discussion by commenting below.
