After Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp recently said that fans should not get used to the way The Reds spent money in 2018, we discussed what that meant for the club.
Of course, it shows that the German has a lot of confidence in his current crop of players, but it also could be a dangerous approach from the club. This is because title-rivals Man City will surely open their chequebooks this January in order to close the four-point gap that The Reds have built.
With that in mind, we asked you whether Liverpool need to spend this January, and these were the results:
The Liverpool fans are clearly not resting on their laurels or getting ahead of themselves, as they feel that the club need to spend this January, with 78% agreeing upon this.
Of course, that does not mean that The Reds need to match the fee just short of £250m that was spent over 2018, but some new arrivals may be necessary to keep them on course for their first ever Premier League title.
