There is more bad news for Tottenham Hotspur fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern as talkSPORT claim that one of their top targets is ‘virtually non transferable.’
In a massive blow to Andre Villas-Boas’ side, it has been claimed that Pablo Osvaldo will not be joining the Lilywhites this summer or any other outfits as the 26-year-old will be staying at his current club Roma. Spurs of course have been tracking the player for a while now and it is yet another long-term target that will snub the North London side.
Leandro Damiao is also set to snub the club once more and it means that Andre Villas-Boas could well have to go back to the drawing board and will have to look for another forward to add to his line in the summer. Osvaldo’s agent claimed that: “Osvaldo is very focused and wants to finish the season well. He wants to repay the faith shown in him by the coach.”
He further added that Roma will not be selling the player noting that: “I know for certainty that Roma consider him a key player and virtually non transferable.”
