Crystal Palace fans here in the Tavern are hoping to see manager Roy Hodgson bring in more players this window, and they’ve gotten their wish as Palace add another player to their squad.
Roy Hodgson’s side were one of the form sides in the Premier League towarss the end of the year, as they enjoyed an eight game unbeaten streak that pushed them clear of relegation trouble.
Indeed, this can be largely put down to the brilliance of Wilfried Zaha and Bakary Sako, after performances filled with some quite astonishing pieces of skill and goals has seen them become influential in the side’s progression.
Although, with the centre of midfield being a weak point of Palace’s with only Yohan Cabaye able to steady the ship, they’ve added another midfielder to their ranks, and a promising one at that.
Crystal Palace’s Twitter account took to notify fans on a new signing, as Benfica midfielder Erdal Rakip has joined the Eagles on loan until the end of the season.

Following the club’s post, fans were quick to welcome their new player, and hopes he can deliver some moments of brilliance for the side.
Nevertheless, here’s a look at exactly the sort of reaction fans gave off on social media…
He is 21 years old and already won 4 league titles. And people are complaining about his weight. He has probably only tucked in the medals under the shirt.
