Hull City edging closer to appointing Steve Bruce’s replacement

Hull City fans are understandably anxious heading into the new Premier League season in the Football Transfer Tavern, as their threadbare squad currently has no manager following the departure of Steve Bruce.

According to MailOnline, the Tigers are set to appoint their boss in the next 24 hours with Chris Coleman currently being favourite to take the hot seat at the KCOM Stadium.

Following Coleman’s heroics with Wales at Euro 2016 in France, the Welshman is tempted with a return to management in the Premier League.

But it will cost the Premier League new boys around £250,000 to appoint him as he is currently under contract with the Welsh FA until 2018.

Coleman is not the only A-list name in the hat for job, as Roberto Martinez and Gianfranco Zola are both in contention to land the job.

Hull fans. Out of Chris Coleman, Roberto Martinez and Gianfranco Zola, who would you like as your new boss? Let us know your thoughts below!
