Hull City set to land England Under-21 international star

Tom Ince Hull City don’t get much of a mention in the Football Transfer Tavern but they soon will if they keeping making quality additions to their squad.

Today the Daily Mail are reporting that the Tigers are set to sign Blackpool’s England Under-21 international winger Thomas Ince after he agreed a contract with the Humberside club.

The 22-year old son of Paul travelled to Italy earlier this summer to hold talks with Serie A giants Inter Milan but the Nerazzurri failed to come to an agreement.

The tavern’s very own landlord does not know whether to laugh or cry upon hearing that somebody has chosen Hull over Milan so he will probably do a little bit of both!

The fee for Ince will be determined by a tribunal with Blackpool who will ask for an £8 million package.

That figure is reportedly based on the notion that Crystal Palace paid £1.5 million to have him on-loan at Selhurst Park for a five-month loan deal last season.

Premier League fans. Is Ince crazy for choosing Hull over a move to Italy with Inter Milan? Let us know your thoughts below.
