The Man City fans in the Transfer Tavern are enjoying a rather productive summer…
Last season was, for the most part, one to forget, with Pep Guardiola failing to deliver on the expectations that were placed upon his shoulders at the start of the campaign. There were certainly signs of dominance, though, and the first few months of the campaign proved that given the right conditions, Guardiola will be able to dominate in the Premier League.
The main task for the Spaniard has been about building his preferred first team, and having now captured deals for Bernardo Silva and Ederson, it looks as though he is well on course. Indeed, the fans in the pub think that a few more big signings could be enough to seal the title for Man City next season, and according to Sky Sports, the Citizens have outlined at least one target.
Citing Sky Sources, Sky Sports are reporting that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a potential target for Man City this summer, with the club seemingly looking to further bolster their attacking options.
Given the recognisability of Aubameyang’s name, it will come as no surprise to learn of the delight amongst the fans in the Transfer Tavern in response to the news, and many fans have also taken to Twitter to discuss it too.
