Reportedly, Chelsea have offered to make the Frenchman their highest paid player ever, but PSG still have the financial might to offer the World Cup winner even greater terms.
If the 27-year-old does decide he would like to return to his home country, then their is little the Blues may be able to do to stop him. Whilst Maurizio Sarri would undoubtedly prefer to keep Kante at Stamford Bridge, he may have to countenance sourcing a replacement for him during this transfer window.
In case the eventuality of a Kante exit comes to pass, Sarri will already have a list of targets drawn up. It would be smart of him to include these two on his wish list.
