Since the arrival of Jose Mourinho, there has been a bit of a slowdown when it comes to youth integration, with Scott McTominay the only player to really force his way into the plans of the Old Trafford boss.

However, young Andreas Periera began to show signs over the summer that he could be the ideal new recruit for the Man Utd midfield.

However, as the season has progressed, the young midfielder has seen his minutes reduce little-by-little, and he's made just 2 league stats at this point in the season.

That's got to change, otherwise Periera should genuinely be looking at the exit.

After all, whenever he has played, he's looked very good indeed. A fantastically technically gifted individual, he's excellent with the ball at his feet, and that's something that Man Utd have lacked as of late. For all of Paul Pogba's qualities, he's inconsistent, and so having someone reliable alongside him to help create magic in the midfield would be a huge help for the Red Devils.

Not to mention, at just 22-years-old, he's a player with extraordinary potential, and given that Nemanja Matic has been poor and is already 30-years-old, the future is something that Jose Mourinho must prepare for.

Pereira impressed at Valencia last season, and he's only gotten better when he's played this term, and there's no doubting that he's good enough to turn out for a top European side. If Mourinho doesn't rate him, then, he'd be wise to take his talents elsewhere.

He'd likely have no shortage of suitors, and if Mourinho doesn't change his mind and play the midfielder, he'll be left with no choice.
