Arsenal fans here in the Tavern are excited to see who is appointed as the club’s new manager, as success and silverware may be just around the corner at the Emirates.
The Gunners continue their search for a new manager after Arsene Wenger’s departure, with a number of candidates being lined up for the vacant managerial role at the Emirates.
Surprisingly, it looks as if Arsenal have identified another possible managerial candidate, as it’s understood that Thierry Henry has been asked to meet Arsenal chiefs to discuss the Emirates managerial vacancy.
Of course, this is something that many of our local residents are both happy and unsure about, as they obviously love the Frenchman for all that he has done for the club, but he does have no previous managerial experience other than being the Belgian national side’s current assistant manager.
With that in mind, if Thierry Henry joins Arsenal, he needs to sign this striker…
Timo Werner, who is valued at £54 million (by Transfermarkt), is arguably one of the most promising strikers in the whole of world football, having scored 21 goals and provided 10 assists this season.
Of course, Thierry Henry would be sure to get the best out of the 23-year-old if he makes the move to the Emirates, as the Frenchman’s wisdom and class will start to rub off on the RB Leipzig forward.
And, the striker will have a huge part to play in the World Cup after being named in the German squad, so the Gunners may be keeping tabs on him throughout the competition to possibly make a swoop this summer.
