It’s long been touted by our Arsenal fans here in the Transfer Tavern, that Arsene Wenger needs to bring in a tough-tackling enforcer.
Ever since the days of that the partnership of Patrick Vieira and Emmanuel Petit broke down, the Gunners have needed to bring in that tough tackling mould. Perhaps not a duo but at least one midfield general, someone who will counter-balance the tip-tap football Wenger likes to play.
