The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern have been impressed with Anthony Martial over the last year or so.

Following his arrival, the Frenchman was hugely influential, and whilst he was inconsistent, most thought that the arrival of Jose Mourinho would take him to new heights.

However, it hasn't quite worked out like that. He was, originally, rarely given a chance by the manager, only for him to force his way into the Portuguese's plans with a flurry of fantastic goals from the bench.

Despite this, though, he has never really been able to hold down a weekly place in the first team, and the arrival of Alexis Sanchez has, it seems, put an end to that changing anytime soon.

Now, though, that could come back to bite Mourinho, with French reporter Mohamed Bouhafsi revealing that the attacker wants to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season.

Unsurprisingly, this hasn't gone down with our resident Red Devils, and it's a very similar tale for the Man Utd fans over on Reddit. Supporters have taken to the Red Devils page on the platform to discuss the rumour, and it's fair to say that they are very frustrated.

Most are pointing the blame at Mourinho, and they're fearing that this could be another example of a mistake from the Portuguese in a similar fashion to that which saw Kevin De Bruyne leave Chelsea.
