Imminent Everton deals likely as encouraging news emerges

20-year-old Calvert-Lewin, fresh from helping England win the Under-20 World Cup over the summer, has been called upon often this term in a bid to help the Toffees’ evident striking crisis, and with six goals and six assists in 27 appearances in all competitions, he has certainly done his bit.

While 20-year-old Kenny has also seen first team opportunities come his way in recent times with eight successive Premier League starts, and a fine effort against Liverpool on Sunday has further underlined the bright future he has in the game.

And reports from Joyce on Twitter suggest that both are on the verge of penning new deals at the Merseyside club, in news which is sure to delight our resident Evertonians, what with their side beginning to climb up the division, while also demonstrating clear planning for the future of the club.

Landlord’s verdict: Things have been a lot brighter at Everton in the last few weeks, with a new manager in place and results starting to come for the Merseysiders, so much so that they are already up to tenth in the Premier League table.
