The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern were fearing the worst when midfielder Aaron Ramsey went off against Sunderland…
However, Ben Dinnery has provided an update on the matter on Twitter – and will no doubt leave fans feeling relieved. According to Dinnery, Ramsey could yet be available for Arsenal to face Everton – with the thigh injury sustained against the Black Cats not thought to be serious.

This has come as a big relief for the Arsenal fans in the pub, with many fearing that the Welshman’s season could have been over. He has, of course, been important for the Gunners this year – though his form has been somewhat inconsistent.
The same can be said for his team, though, with Arsene Wenger’s side faltering this season. A top four finish now looks likely to be a tough ask, relying on other teams to drop points to make it in, but that is what makes Arsenal’s clash against Everton so important. A win could be enough to see them through, if other sides drop points.
