Tottenham fans are mystified in the Football Transfer Tavern as Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid are lining up a bid for their misfiring striker in January.
According to the London Evening Standard, Roberto Soldado has been tipped for a move away from White Hart Lane with both European clubs in search for a clinical striker.
Despite Soldado having endured a difficult start to life in London, fans in the tavern still believe he has that killer instinct in front of goal but it just hasn’t clicked for him in the Premier League.
Although, there is no way that Tottenham will be able to get back their £26 million fee that they paid for him but Daniel Levy will do what he does best and wheel and deal to ensure he gets the best price.
But as impressive as Levy’s business skills are, it would a great achievement to offload a striker who has only netted 12 times in 40 appearances.
Even new Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has already made his mind up on the Spaniard who despite scoring against Nottingham Forest in the Capital One Cup last night, looks an absolute shadow of his former Valencia self.
Tottenham fans. Do you think the club should continue to persist with Roberto Soldado or should the club try and cash in on their misfiring forward? Let us know your thoughts below.
