International star wants Chelsea ace to rejoin European giant

PedroChelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are debating whether one more recent addition should be offloaded, amidst comments from an international team-mate.

ESPN quote Barcelona full-back Jordi Alba as stating he would like former winger Pedro Rodriguez to rejoin the Catalan giants, after a disappointing first campaign in the Premier League with Chelsea.

Pedro spoke earlier this week about possibly returning to Barcelona and Alba, who is on duty with Spain at the European Championships, believes his close friend can still offer a lot to Barcelona.

“He made history with Barcelona and he is a great friend of mine. One of the few friends I have in football. Hopefully I can share many great moments with him. He has all the attributes to succeed with Barcelona, hopefully he can come back. He left, but I think it is vital for the team to have him as a player.”

Our landlord believes Chelsea may happily allow Pedro to leave, especially with Antonio Conte taking charge, and he feels a move could be secured this summer.

Chelsea fans, should Pedro leave this summer? Let us know in the comments below!
