Inter’s €50M Deal For Tevez Will Spark One Of City’s Best Signings Yet

Carlos has had more clubs than a cave man’s outfitters. The want-away Man City forward bangs in the goals but also the transfer requests.

Boca Juniors, Corinthians, West Ham, Man United and Man City are all notches on his bed post.  If clubs were women then not even former team mate Ryan Giggs could match Tevez’s fleeting affairs.

The latest club that think they can tame Tevez’s restless soul is Italian giants Inter Milan. Their interest has been aroused because of the imminent departure of their own famed striker Samuel Eto’o to super rich Russian outfit Anzhi.

For Inter to finance the £50m move for Tevez they may have to sell their prized midfielder Wesley Sneijder.  In a bid maybe to keep Sneijder for at least another year Inter have suggested a season long loan with then an option to buy Tevez. However, City have made it clear that they would want straight cash or a deal involving Sneijder moving the other way.

The capture of Sneijder, a United target this summer,  would be another coup for blue half of Manchester and another slap in the face of city rivals United, just as Tevez was back in summer of 2009.

The transfer window is about really hot up in it’s closing weeks.  For all the latest gossip keep a close eye on the The Transfer Tavern.
