Is A £12M Valuation Likely To Kill Off Transfer Interest?

Arsenal’s Nicklas Bendtner is a well known football enigma and is seemingly surplus to requirements at the Emirates despite a somewhat impressive loan spell at Sunderland last season.

The People are reporting mega-rich Anzhi Makhachkala of Russia are interested in Arsenal’s Nicklas Bendtner. Bendtner would land a megabucks deal with the Russian club who have landed Samuel Eto’o and Christopher Samba in the past. The Express are reporting another wealthy powerhouse Spains Malaga are also interested in the Arsenal striker after he had impressed for Denmark at Euro 2012.

The Arsenal striker is rated at around £12m by the North London club and it seems no Premier League side is willing to pay that amount considering his stalling career in England.

Abroad however clubs obviously believe the striker could FINALLY fulfill some of the potential he has shown on international duty.

I won’t lie, I’ve never been a Bendtner fan but he did impress me on occassion for Sunderland last season and seem to improve under Martin O’Neill as so many players do. He also impressed me for Denmark during Euro 2012, so much so I even brought him on my career mode in Fifa 12! Which is no small prize I can tell you haha!

Bendtner possesses all the attributes to be a top striker but his attitude seems to be the problem (not as much of an issue on Fifa), he believes he is better than he is and seems unwilling to learn and work hard to improve which is a shame.

Under the right manager, at the right club, Bendtner would still have a lot to offer a Premier League club but not at £12m. All valuations seem to be unrealistic these days, for a player unwanted by a club and someone they want to unload £12m is ridiculous.
