A number of fans in the Transfer Tavern have been slating the young livewire England forward, Marcus Rashford. The 20-year-old striker is one of four strikers that Gareth Southgate has chosen to take to Russia and if he can find the net on the pitch like he is in training then he should be able to silence some of his critics.

Rashford will be alongside Harry Kane, Jamie Vardy and Danny Welbeck who the England fans will be relying on to get the goals in the World Cup, although it won’t be easy as the Three Lions face a tough group consisting of Tunisia, Panama and Belgium and whilst they’re touted to get through the group, it still needs to be done and Rashford will be relied upon to find the net if England are to advance.
The young forward has come under criticism from a number of Manchester United fans as it looks like he will be kept at Old Trafford whilst Anthony Martial, who is one of United’s most popular players, is set to be sold by Jose Mourinho in the coming months. Ideally, though, the United fans would see both players stay in Manchester but unfortunately, that won’t be happening and Rashford will have to ignore the criticism from the fans and knuckle down to focus on his World Cup performances.
Why can't you do this at United? Is it because of Jose???
