Yet more cause for concern for the Man Utd fans in the Football Transfer Tavern…
It has been a worrying 10 days for the United faithful in the Tavern, after what one fan has described as ‘the worst week in years’ for their beloved team.
After a derby day defeat to Manchester City, United then fell to defeats against Feyenoord and Watford as Mourinho’s men stumbled to a trio of shocking defeats.
And whilst many are touting the record as a mere blip; the statistics prove that something far more sinister could be awaiting Jose Mourinho this season…
As reported by the Sun, Jose Mourinho win-rate since the start of last season is absolutely mindblowing; and leaves him near the bottom of the pile in the Premier League.
His 33% win rate leaves him behind names including Swansea boss Francesco Guidolin and Stoke City manager Mark Hughes.
Considering the vast wealth that has been spent at both Chelsea and Man Utd under Mourinho’s managership; this does not bode well for the United faithful in the Tavern.
Our landlord thinks a sacking is unlikely – but on this run of form; would it be the best course of action?
Time will certainly tell – but Jose Mourinho must pick United’s form up quickly if he wants to endure a long tenure at Old Trafford.
