Poor old Manchester United fans have endured a difficult 12 months haven’t they?
Those that are used to seeing their side win the Premier League week in, week out have been forced to watch their beloved Red Devils slip to seventh in the table, miss out in the Champions League and sack a manager for the first time in living memory for many supporters.
But at least they are still doing things the ‘United way’ right?
Sacking a manager after just one bad season is reserved for Chelsea after all (cough, David Moyes).
Spending big money to solve the problem is something those noisy neighbours Manchester City do (cough, more than £150 million spent this summer and now the most expensive squad in the Premier League.)
Remembering the good times is just typical for any Liverpool fan isn’t it? Check a Manchester United fans’ Twitter after any bad result and you’ll see this is something they always manage to rise above.
And keeping a trophyless manager for too long would just make them Arsenal. So I guess that justifies the Chelsea style manner in which Moyes was sacked?
So keep calm and do it the ‘United way’ – although what that is, I have no idea!
