West Ham United will be desperate to ensure consistency after a rather sloppy start to proceedings under Manuel Pellegrini, with a European place still the aim.
The Hammers have one of the strongest squads outside of the top six and an experienced manager at the helm, so it comes as some surprise that things aren’t ticking just yet. Although, it appears as if one of West Ham’s star men is the centre of attention, as according to the Daily Mail, Paris Saint-Germain are interested in Issa Diop.
Paris Saint-Germain are targeting West Ham’s Issa Diop, and could be prepared to offer up to £50 million for the French centre back.
Diop’s form has alerted PSG, who want to bolster their ranks of talented young French players and have monitored the 21-year-old for some time.
Although, the French champions believe they could face competition from Manchester United after Jose Mourinho hailed Diop as a ‘monster’ when his team lost at West Ham.
Issa Diop has been one of the standout performers for West Ham United, with a big future ahead of him. But, his future is now uncertain with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United possibly interested, as offers from those two clubs may be too hard for him to turn down.
Nevertheless, the central defender could have a huge say in how this season pans out for the London club.
