Italian giants set to make summer move for Chelsea midfielder

OscarThe Chelsea fans here in the Transfer Tavern are eagerly anticipating the start of incoming boss Antonio Conte’s tenure as the club’s manager, with an upturn in fortunes high on the agenda.

In order to get the Blues back among the top four he will undoubtedly need to make some additions to his squad, whilst he will probably choose to move others on.

Our landlord has spotted a piece in today’s Daily Express that confirms Juventus could be set to test Chelsea’s resolve with a bid for Brazilian midfielder Oscar.

The 24-year-old has not played as frequently as he might of liked to this season and he could be set to entertain the thought of a move to Italy to play for the soon to be Italian champions.

One Chelsea fan is sat at the bar chatting with one of the bar managers and he thinks that Oscar can still do a job for the Blues, although he does concede that given Chelsea’s wealth they will probably look to sign someone else should the Brazilian choose to leave.

Chelsea fans, would you welcome Oscar departing the club? Would you rather he stayed? Who should replace him?
