But according to the Daily Star, their business may not be finished just yet with Chelsea reportedly in talks with Italian international Mattia Destro.
Jose Mourinho has already added Diego Costa and Didier Drogba to the Blues’ attacking ranks this summer but the agent of the Roma striker claims that Chelsea and AC Milan are in pursuit of his client.
He said: “I cannot deny he is at the centre of some important situations that could develop.
“More Milan or Chelsea? The market is unpredictable. These are two interested clubs.
“Jose Mourinho admires him, while Milan could make some important steps forward very soon.”
It was rumoured early last week that Chelsea would launch a player plus cash deal involving Fernando Torres, however those reports have now been rejected.
And Milan could soon stump up the cash to land the striker having sold fiery Italian Mario Balotelli to Liverpool.
Destro would no doubt fill the void that Balotelli has left at the San Siro having been Roma’s top scorer last season.
