Reports emerging out of Italy suggest that Nicklas Bendtner is wanted by Lazio on loan this January, with a permanent move for £9 million on the cards in the summer.
According to the Italian media, Arsenal, ‘wanting to make space in their own dressing room’, are happy to let the Danish International leave, although these reports have been strongly denied.
Bendtner, frustrated by a lack of first team opportunities and motivated by an incredible inflated sense of self-importance, has been touted around Serie A for some time now. Could he do the business on the Continent?
Is Bendter really worth £9 million (which is incidentally only £50 million shy of the player’s own valuation of his talent)? Should Arsenal let him go?
Maybe Arsene would notice him more if he wore a snood.
