Manchester City fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are expecting a busy summer at the Etihad Stadium with many depatures expected. One player who could be on his way is long serving Micah Richards who has today been linked with a move to Italy with AC Milan.
The Sun reports that the Italian giants are ready to renew their interest in the versatile defender after former City favourite Mario Balotelli praised his all-round ability to the San Siro chiefs.
Richards has missed nearly all of the season due to knee surgery and has lost his place in the City first team to Pablo Zabaleta which could see City cashing in on Richards as they seek to reduce the wage bill this summer.
The Italian club may also have to fend off interest from both Arsenal and Liverpool in their pursuit with Brendan Rodgers thought to be watching his progress closely.
After playing his entire career at with the Manchester club, it could be time for the 24-year-old to leave and a possible switch to Italy could be attractive to the former England international.
