‘It’s getting frustrating’ – Some Liverpool fans have been slating one particular man over saga

The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been tearing into the Lyon president, Jean-Michael Aulas as the Nabil Fekir transfer saga rolls on. The Reds had been hoping to get the deal for the French midfielder over the line before the World Cu, but Aulas has prevented that from happening.

Some Liverpool fans have started to take their eyes off of Fekir and start looking at other options for the attacking midfield role at Anfield. Last night saw James Rodriguez play out of his skin for Colombia and for every game that Fekir fails to impress for France it leaves more questions being asked over whether he’s the right man for Liverpool. Things could have been so much different though, had Aulas not pulled the plug on the Fekir to Liverpool deal at the 11th hour.

The fans have now had to endure endless noise from the Lyon president as he continues to talk about Liverpool and Fekir. A number of other clubs have been interested in the Frenchman and a deal could still take place that tears him away from his current club. If this were to happen, the Kopites could be left feeling hard done by, considering how close they got to a deal, however, it would probably be a feeling of relief rather than frustration from Liverpool’s perspective as they could start focusing on other options.

The Liverpool fans in the Tavern have made it pretty clear that they’re not best pleased with Aulas as the Lyon man continues to create noise over the future of Fekir.
