Chelsea continued to keep the pressure up on the top two with an excellent win over a stubborn Fulham side this afternoon.

Goals from Pedro and sub Ruben Loftus-Cheek were enough for the Blues to see off their London rivals at the Bridge, and manager Mauro Sarri deserves a ton of credit for getting his side to bounce back from last weekend's mauling at the hands of Spurs.

And we here at the Tavern were particularly impressed with the showing of substitute Loftus-Cheek, who once again underlined his credentials as one of the top young players in the Premier League.

Game time has always been his issue though, but we feel now is the time for Chelsea and Sarri to really give Loftus-Cheek his chance in the first XI on a regular basis and see if he can grasp it with both hands.

The 22-year-old has all the potential in the world, and a run of games at the top level might be just what he needs to finally cement himself as a player who is going to go on and have a successful career in the Premier League.

Big and strong and equally as good on the ball as many other players in the Chelsea squad, Loftus-Cheek deserves his moment in the spotlight, and it's about time he was given a run of minutes to really show what he can do for the Blues.

Chelsea fans, what do you think? Would you keep playing Loftus-Cheek? Let us know!
