It’s time for Chelsea to give this young attacker a run in the first team

Chelsea once again look a force to be reckoned with this season and could well go on to defend their Premier League title if things continue as they are under Antonio Conte.

The Blues further underlined their potential this past week with a stunning late win at Atletico Madrid. In what was billed as one of the toughest away trips of the season, a returning Eden Hazard inspired them to victory.

Our landlord here at the Tavern has been suitably impressed and he welcomed Blues fans back to the bar on Thursday to discuss how the rest of the season might go.

Despite having a wealth of attacking talent, he thinks that Chelsea have a man in their ranks they could turn to for more minutes, and that man is young winger Jeremie Boga.

The 20-year-old looks to be another excellent young talent to emerge from the Bridge, but unlike a lot before him, he looks to have won some trust off Conte already with his inclusion in the squad on a regular basis.

He notched his first goal during the Champions League win over Qarabag, and looks every bit the top prospect. With Willian and Pedro inconsistent and a returning Hazard needing to be managed through his minutes, Boga should be given his chance to impress int he coming weeks.

Chelsea fans, what do you think to Boga? Give us your thoughts in the comments!
