It’s time for Klopp to trust this 19-year-old in the Liverpool first team – agreed?

Change is needed at Liverpool, at least according to the fans in the Transfer Tavern. It has been a very difficult few weeks for the Reds, leaving most supporters hiding behind their pint glasses. They’ve really struggled to gain a foothold in the Premier League, and whilst a dominant win against Maribor saved their blushes last week, they were back to losing again at the weekend.

Recent reports from the Mirror, then, suggesting that big personnel changes in the team could be coming over the next few weeks have come as music to the ears of the fans in the pub. They think that it’s long overdue, with the defence struggling for much of the campaign. One player that the Mirror suggests could be involved is Trent Alexander-Arnold – a player that our landlord has been campaigning for for several weeks.

The 19-year-old has shown vast quality and maturity beyond his years whenever he has featured this season, and in truth if he wasn’t so young, Klopp would have little choice but to pick him every week. You can draw to his lack of experience, of course, but the likes of Dejan Lovren and Ragnar Klavan have years of experience behind them – and they are struggling massively.

Klopp needs to make changes, and who better to go for than a talented wonderkid that is desperate to get a chance and prove himself – agreed?
