Everton now find themselves firmly in the race for a European spot after picking up yet another three points on Saturday. It appears as if Marco Silva has found a way to get the very best out of his side, with results finally starting to fall their way in the Premier League.
The Toffees were nothing short of rampant against West Ham United at the London Stadium on Saturday as they secured a 2-0 win, thanks to goals from Kurt Zouma and Bernard.
Of course, Everton fans will agree that it’s nice to finally see things fall into place after spending a lot of money on bringing in players back in the summer transfer window.
And, it appears as if Sky Sports journalist Jack Wilkinson also enjoyed the Toffees’ performance as he raved about Marco Silva’s side and rated their display an A-.
‘Everton picked up from where they left off in their victory over Chelsea before the international break with a classy performance at West Ham, where they completely dominated in every department.’
‘Silva’s slick side had nine shots on target at the London Stadium and had this game sewn up inside 33 minutes’
Supporters will be hoping that this is a sign of things to come as their side have struggled with consistency for large parts. The main aim for the Toffees from here on in until the end of the season has to be a European spot as it would provide them with the opportunity to go big once again in the summer by bringing in even more big names.
