The midfielder has missed a number of training sessions this week after he injured his left ankle and is now a possible doubt for Sunday’s match at Goodison Park.
West Ham have had a difficult start to the season and Manuel Pellegrini is yet to taste victory in the Premier League with the club.
Having made a number of quality signings after spending big, he would have been expecting his side to have had at least some points on the board and will be looking to end Everton’s unbeaten run.
Pellegrini will be looking to get his first Premier League points of the season at the weekend and with Wilshere a possible doubt, that task could be made a lot harder.
The former Arsenal man was signed on a free transfer this summer, although it must be stated that he is yet to make an impact for the London Stadium outfit.
However, there is no doubt that the 26-year-old would have been able to give the Hammers an added dimension if he were to play and the Irons will be hopeful he will be able to feature.
