Jack Wilshere on course to make return in early November

West Ham United could be about to receive some positive news on the injury front as another one of their players is expected to make a return ahead of schedule.

According to Claret and Hugh, which is a website that provides the latest on news about the Hammers, Jack Wilshere is thought to be edging closer to a return to match action.

It is understood the former Arsenal man could return to the first-team by within a month after having to undergo surgery on his ankle.

The midfielder has been on the sidelines since picking up an injury during their 1-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

It now looks as though he could be involved for the Hammers when they meet Burnley at the beginning of November at Turf Moor.

The Verdict:

West Ham will be pleased to hear that Wilshere is on the verge of making a return to fitness and will be happy to have him back involved.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side recently lost Carlos Sanchez to a serious long-term injury and the England international will be in a position to replace him in the middle of the team.

However, during Wilshere’s absence, the squad have managed to cope adequately and have since managed to turn their form around completely, with a number of positive results and impressive performances.
