West Ham United have not had any luck when it comes to injuries this season, with Manuel Pellegrini’s side having seen the treatment room extremely full.
The Hammers have seen the likes of Carlos Sanchez, Andriy Yarmolenko, Manuel Lanzini and Winston Reid be forced out with long-term concerns, whilst Andy Carroll has just started his return from a lengthy spell out.
Pedro Obiang recently went down with a calf injury, whilst Jack Wilshere is also working hard to recover from the minor ankle surgery he had.
Wilshere is looking to make a return in November, however, it is suggested that the medical team at the London Stadium are keen for him to take as long as needed to recover from the problem, as they are unwilling to take any risks with him.
Wilshere’s return will surely come as a timely boost to West Ham as they continue to suffer with a number of injury concerns this season.
The club will be right to take it as slowly as possible with the former Arsenal man, considering his long history when it comes to spending time out on the sidelines.
Should things all go to plan, the 26-year-old could look to make a return when West Ham meet Manchester City on November 24, just after the next international break.
