Jack Wilshere wants to remain in England

Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere is in no rush to join Steve McClaren’s FC Twente according to The Mirror.

The 18 year old midfielder has been linked with a loan move away from Arsenal in order to gain valuable first team experience but nothing has materialised yet. Arsene Wenger was keen on letting him join Burnley because despite being in a relegation battle, the Lancashire club has stuck with their enterprising style of football.

Yet manager Owen Coyle has moved to Bolton and although he has tried to resurrect the move for his new club, Wenger is less keen to send him to Bolton who’s style of football is less attractive.

Steve McClaren’s side were linked with a move for the player yesterday but Wilshere is not thought to want to move to Holland despite the chance of him picking up his first title, instead he would prefer a move to an English club.
