Arsenal are having a decent old season following on from a summer of turmoil which saw the futures of manager Arsene Wenger and star men Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez once again called into question.
The Gunners are looking on course for a top four spot though, and both Ozil and Sanchez appear to have got their heads down and are cracking on with trying to deliver the goods for their manager.
With the busy winter period approaching and the January transfer window upon us our landlord here at the Tavern has been having a few conversations with Gunners fans this week over at the bar, discussing just who could be moving in and out of the club in the winter window.
One player who has been mentioned is big defender Rob Holding, who since making his move from Bolton Wanderers, appears to slightly out of his depth at Premier League level.
However, this is not to say that he does not have a promising career ahead of him, but a move to another club and away from the pressures of looking to secure Champions League football is something which could benefit the young defender in the long run.
Arsenal are a club with high expectations, and the pressure of performing at the Emirates on a weekly basis to the required standard is a tough ask for even the top defenders, never mind someone who has only just moved from what was a League One club in the Trotters two seasons back.
Gunners fans, what do you think? Would you move Holding on? Let us know in the comments!
